Ensure your Prom is Protected

Celebrating the end of a year’s worth of hard work is improtant. Whether you’re organising a prom, dance, ball, formal celebration or gala; Insure Our Event will deliver comprehensive prom event insurance.

The last thing organisers of a prom want is to worry about the financial consequences  following an injury or incident. Slips, trips and falls are to be expected at any large celebration, so it’s important to remain protected. Prom event expenses can include catering, entertainment, deposits and venue hire. Insure Our Event helps prom organisers protect against risks associated with these expenses. Tailor your cover to your event, and compare the cost by filling out our flexible quote form.

Do I need Public Liability Insurance for a Prom?

It is highly recommended that all prom event organisers arrange public liability insurance to protect their finances. If someone were to fall and injure themselves, they could make a claim against the organiser and be entitled to compensation. Cover the costs of damages and legal fees with the correct insurance policy.

For events with less than 100 guests, organisers will need to purchase £1million public liability coverage. At Insure Our Event, we offer the lowest liability limit, cutting out unnecessary costs, meaning our price is comparatively lower. For events with more than 100 guests, organisers should consider £2million – £5million liability cover, available through our flexible quote form.

Ticketed events legally require employers’ liability insurance, covering the risks posed by staff members and volunteers when running a prom. Employers’ liability insurance will cover you if a member of staff or volunteer falls ill. Event equipment cover will protect the expense of accidental damage, loss or theft of equipment for which you are responsible. Many events have hired equipment which are liable to be damaged, this could land you with a hefty fine if you are not protected.
